To make it easy, I have even created a spreadsheet that will figure out the totals for you each month. I have a column for estimated so that you can budget your money and then a column for the actual amount of the expense each month. The last page is another savings tracker but with more detail. A lot of times I like to make my kids save their allowance for an item they want to buy, like a new toy or video game!
